  It's just more fear-injections, more attempts to maintain control with superstition, to keep people from learning TTATT. What is the internet, if not a "human institution" which WT has to fight every day.

  good evening folks!

  we have encountered this advice countlessly on wt study articles.

  this especially comes out to ease the waiting pain of brothers eagerly waiting for god's new world and the end of the old system of things - with all the sufferings that go along with it.. i also noticed this being floated to try to extend the patience of brothers who are jumping ahead of the organization in terms of thinking - as if they are pre-empting the organization on certain sensitive views and issues.. if a brother has gotten an idea or insight that is far more superior than the present affairs in the society, or regarded as way in advance - he can be branded as a brother "not in order".

  you thought you was a people but the WT wants you to shut up and be a sheeple. The ones in control have to MAINTAIN their control and EXERCISE their control. Anything that happens, even if it's good, is a threat to their power to control. If it ain't the head dog's idea it's got to go.

  Pioneer School - 2 weeks long???

  i talked to my 83 year old pioneer mother over the weekend and she said she's going.

  pioneer school for 2 weeks starting today in lynnwood, wa.

  is that how long they usually are?.

  "Come along and help serve lunch to the pioneer school - it'll be fun!" I was introduced to the circuit overseer's wife who looked me up and down like What the hell are YOU doing here! and didn't say a word, just turned away to speak with someone else.

  I worked my tail off and it was NOT fun. Most of the pioneers were hoity and toity, condescending and self-important.

  After that when they talked about time for our cong to serve lunch to the pioneer school I just ignored it all.

  i figured he was going to arrange the committee and try to get me kicked out after the whole "big pile of books" labelled "take this shit".. well his call made me realize that more and more people ... elders included no longer take this religion seriously.

  after he told me he heard what happened he actually laughed and said i would never expect that.

  he then told me that it is apparent that i no longer want to be connected to the organization.

  omg - i have NOT had to deal with what you describe. My phone had quit ringing long before I left. NO i would feel the same as you say, being called to explain myself repeatedly would be infuriating.

  Hi, CandA, seems like you're saying, i want to be totally understood!

  I can relate. The formal cutting off, a gesture fully expressing my true self.

  Recently i read somewhere, faders saying "the org does not deserve ANY statement from me, formal, written, verbal or otherwise."

  That made sense to me. I've been waiting for one event to take place, and it should be soon (something that involves a family member), before sending my letter telling them I resign. But now i'm thinking i won't ever send it. I'm going to live as though I never heard of the WT, so no further communication with them is needed.

  Remember the old "read the WT literature and it's just like going to college" -- i feel like reading what you all have written is being in a great learning environment - I appreciate you all so much!

  The cog diss i had going on for years before leaving was over the Love Among Ourselves blather. That was a lie.

  Help needed: JC standards/questions for "Drunkenness"

  an acquaintance (of legal drinking age) may soon be sitting for jc under the charge of "drunkenness".. to those of you who have direct experience either serving on a jc, or being the subject of a jc related to the misuse of alcohol:.

  - could you provide a list of questions that were asked of the accused?.

  Nobody would ever listen to me or take it seriously when i told the elders my spouse was frequently drunk and driving drunk. They said, Don't say that.

  UPDATE: on the pirate publisher that was selling my book...

  back in may, i had a friend email me after the release of our jwstruggle video and tell me that the book i wrote and had published was all over the internet and some of you requested that i keep you up to date, so here goes.. i hired an attorney to write the publisher a letter.

  they stopped selling hard copies and the digital copies of my book but have still not sent a full accounting of how many of my books they sold and reimbursed me and are now ignoring my phone calls and attorneys letters.

  so the lawyer suggested that since it is difficult to sue internationally, i call the local office of the fbi.
